Much of our ministry happens through small groups. Check out additional opportunities for adults (including those needing or called to provide one on one care) at our adult ministries page.
We consider the children among us to be a sacred trust. Through our ministry to children, we teach kids the good news of God’s love through Jesus Christ and help them express their love for God through music and service. Our kids truly are God’s gift to us; the ministry we give to and receive from children reflects this.
Our community attracts many retirees from around the country who look for a church family to be a central part of their new life here. We have senior adults active in every aspect of our church life together, including leadership and missions in the surrounding community and overseas.
Our Sunday morning rooms have groups of various ages and stages getting together during both worship service hours. You may use the Contact tab at the top of this page to let us know you are coming and the kind of group or study you are looking for. Then we can be on the lookout for you at our welcome table.
Our students are not only the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today. Through our relational youth fellowship we disciple teens and college age young adults to grow as followers of Christ, and equip them to take Christ to others. Oh yeah, they also have a lot of fun along the way.
We have many ways to celebrate Christ Jesus through music and drama for people of all ages at Ponte Vedra UMC. Our two Sunday morning services feature a contemporary style band with choir at 9:30am, and traditional choir and liturgy at 11:00am. On Wednesday evenings we offer an exceptional music development experience for middle and high school students - known as YCAM (Youth Creative Arts Ministry). Our handbell choir has restarted. See the music ministries page.
Our ministry begins at home and reaches to the ends of the earth. Visit our missions page to see the many places in Christ is at work through us.
